พริกระฆัง หรือพริกหวาน อุดมด้วยสารวิตามินซี แคโรทีน ลูทิอีน และแซนทีน ซึ่งเป็นสารต้านอนุมูลอิสระที่ดีมาก จึงเหมาะกับทุกผลิตภัณฑ์ ช่วยลดเลือนริ้วรอย ลดรอยเหี่ยวย่น ทั้งยังช่วยปกป้องผิวจากการถูกแสงไฟ แสงแดดได้เป็นเป็นอย่างดี เนื่องจากพริกระฆังมีสารให้ความเผ็ดหรือ Capsaioin ที่น้อยกว่าพริกทั่วไป จึงไม่ความระคายเคือง ทั้งยังมีฤทธิ์ต้านเชื่อแบคทีเรีย จึงสามารถช่วยลดการเกิดสิว ได้
