Properties: Paraffin wax is manufactured from the residue from crude oil distillation process. In section of the process of distillation, the wax or residue obtained from this distillation process is called slack wax which still has a high oil content in the wax. Remove the wax that was obtained through the extraction process of wax to obtain a paraffin wax with the oil content of a standard paraffin wax. Wax that can be used to make candles and other industrial uses are solid, light yellow to white - with a melting point between 48-68oC degrees Celsius.
