Properties: MCT are triglycerides with two acids extracted from coconut. Has similar properties as coconut oil that makes the skin soft and moisturized. Helps restore the skin. Can repair skin that lacks moisture to get back to having moist skin and reduce skin inflammation. Non-gooey. Absorbed through the skin quickly. It is an excellent solvent. Spreads quickly. It is commonly used in any kinds of skin care creams or lotions, bath creams or lotions, body oils, cosmetics, perfumes and shampoos because it is coconut oil that is produced via a process called fractionation to obtain medium-chain triglycerides. It has properties to nourish skin and hair like coconut oil, but the special properties are longevity, unsplit, no rancid, colorless, odorless and liquid due to the fractionation process. Fractionated coconut oil is light weight and easily absorbed through the skin. It can be applied directly on the skin and suits for blending with all kinds of other natural oils including essential oils and fragrance oils by acting as carrier oil.
