Properties: Cetyl Alcohol is a thickener in a cream. Has a flaky appearance. Adds cream texture, weight and thicker texture when mixed with cream.  Cetyl Alcohol is a moisturizer, but it must be used with any type of cream maker because it cannot bind to water and oil.

Recommend Dosage

Volume of use: 1 - 10% (cream or lotion), 3-10% (cleaning product) Solubility: soluble in oil, but insoluble.
